2024 All-Star Baseball/Softball opens

2024 All-Star Baseball/Softball Commitment. By completing a registration I affirm that the below candidate is a registered player, in good standing with Safety Harbor Little League and has played in at least 60% of their regular season games. Should this candidate be selected to an All-Star team, it is understood that the candidate must be available for practices and games beginning May 16th (generally 3 to 4 days per week for at least 2 hours) through August 30, 2024. I understand that time away on vacation, summer camp, or other activities that will interfere with the candidate's ability to attend practices and games during this period may impact the candidate's participation on the All-Star team. Please be mindful of your vacation plans and ensure they do not interfere with tournament games. The candidate understands that All-Star team selection is a privilege and that they will represent their community, league, family, and themself with honor. The candidate also commits to treat all managers, coaches, officials and opponents with respect at all times. I, the parent/guardian of the below named All-Star team candidate, hereby give approval for the player to participate and agree to make the player available for all activities in which the All-Star team participates. Upon selection to an All-Start team I agree to provide the player’s original birth certificate for age verification purposes, a signed medical release form and 3 proofs of residency or a school enrollment form. If I am unable to produce required documents, I understand that the player will not be included on the team roster. I also understand that if below candidate is selected to an All-Star team a registration fee of $150.00* will be due to the league within 24 hours. This will fund team tournament fees, uniforms and required baseball/ softball equipment. Parents/guardians of selected players are directly responsible for other related expenses. If the player becomes unavailable for any reason, other than short-term illness, I understand that their position on the All-Star team may be forfeited and subject to a uniform fee. If you are picked for the all star team and decide to not play there will be a $125.00 uniform fee. *SHLL emphasizes that financial constraints should never hinder a player's ability to participate. If paying a registration fee would place a financial hardship on the candidate's family, please reach out to the player agent, confidentially, for assistance.
